Visa Requirements:
Yemeni Citizens holding British Passports as well as valid Yemeni Passports can travel to Yemen without a Visa. Otherwise, they should apply for a visa at the Yemen Embassy in London.
Diplomatic visas for those who are assigned to work at the British Embassy for long periods (2-4) years are free of charge.
None UK passport holders must be in possession of a UK residence permit for at least two years, when applying for a visa to enter Yemen.
General Requirements:
- One complete application form.
- Two recent passport size photograph.
- The passport of the applicant must be valid for at least 6 months.
- Proof of address.
In addition to the above general requirements, the following requirements are applied:
Timing:
Visa applications can be deposited in person at the counter on any working day, Monday to Friday (closed Saturday and Sunday) from 10.00 to 14.00 hours. Visas can be collected after two weeks working days from 10.30 to 14.30 hours. Visa applications sent by post will take up to three weeks from the date they were received. A fast track service is available.
Postal Visa:
Applications sent by post should include the passport, application form, one photograph and a Postal Order paid to the Yemen Embassy. Please forward a paid registered addressed envelope if you would like your Passport returned by post.

For speedy processing of cases please ensure that properly filled visa form with two recent Passport size photograph, valid passport and correct visa fees. It is likely that the visa applications will be refused if all the requirements are not met.
