Passport Issuance Guide
Passport Renewal
Please download the form and complete it fully without leaving any blank spaces, while following the instructions below:

Write the full name (three names and surname) in Arabic and English according to official documents.

Write the date of birth in the following format: (Day / Month / Year).

Write the mother’s full name (four names) and nationality.
-
The address outside the Republic of Yemen (current residence) must be written in full, including a personal phone number that is reachable.

The details of relatives residing in the Republic of Yemen must be written completely, including relationship, address, and phone numbers, as indicated in the form.

The original previous passport that is to be replaced must be attached.
-
A copy of the residence permit must be attached.
-
Naturalized citizens must attach a copy of the British passport.

Two recent colored passport photos (front-facing with a white background).
-
If requesting a change of profession, proof of the new profession must be provided.

If the applicant is a minor or a married woman, a copy of the passport and residence permit of the guardian must be attached (husband or father).
Issuing a Passport for a Child
A separate form must be completed for each child, following the requirements mentioned above, and attaching the following:

The child’s birth certificate or a certified copy.

A copy of the father’s passport and residence permit.
-
A copy of the mother’s passport and residence permit.
Replacement of a Damaged or Lost Passport
In case of damage or loss of a passport, according to Article 14 of the Passport Law:

If the passport is damaged, the holder will be fined up to the value of the passport.

If the passport is lost, the fine will be double the passport value.
The following must be attached:

Complete the form according to the instructions mentioned above.

Attach a clear copy of the lost passport and a police report confirming the loss.

In case of damage, the damaged passport must be submitted with the application.
General Information

The processing time for complete applications ranges between one week to six weeks.

The Consulate is not responsible for any delay or rejection of applications that are incomplete or do not meet the above requirements.

Passport details cannot be modified when replacing lost or damaged passports, according to the instructions of the Immigration and Passports Authority.
